How do I send an email to the people who bought from my page?

For creators3 min readUpdated 2 Oct 2026

You can write one email to the people who bought from you and agreed to emails from creators. There is a limit on how often, no links or contact details are allowed, and your first email is checked by our team before it goes out.

Open the menu and choose Email your supporters, or use the card on your dashboard. You write a subject and a message, pick who gets it, and we send it for you. You never see your supporters' email addresses.

Who receives it

Only supporters who bought from you and agreed to receive emails from creators. Following you is not enough, and a supporter who has not agreed is never emailed — they choose that themselves, so we cannot switch it on for them.

The page shows two numbers for each group, for example "12 of 40 accept email". The second is how many supporters match the group; the first is how many of them will get your email.

The three groups

  • Everyone who bought from you — supporters who bought in the last 24 months.
  • Current members and subscribers — supporters with a membership or monthly content running right now.
  • Recent supporters — supporters who bought in the last 90 days.

If a group shows nobody who accepts email, there is nobody to send to yet. Pick another group, or try again after your next sale.

How often

1 in any 7 days and 2 in any 30 days. An email you cancel, or one we could not send, does not count.

The limit is small on purpose. An email with your name on it gets opened; one that arrives every few days gets switched off, and a supporter who does that stops hearing from every creator they support.

What is not allowed

No links, no @handles, no phone numbers and no email addresses. Everything a supporter needs is on your page, and the email carries a button to it. The usual content rules apply to the words as well.

If your email breaks a rule it is not sent, and the page tells you what to change. It does not use up your allowance.

You can attach one of your own live listings. It shows as a button that opens that listing on your page.

Your first email is checked

Our team reads your first email before it goes out. It shows as Waiting for our check in your list until then, and you can cancel it while it waits.

The cancel window

After your first email, each one waits 30 minutes before it goes out. It shows as Scheduled and has a Cancel button until it starts sending. Once it is sending it cannot be stopped.

Send a test to yourself

Send a test to myself sends one copy to your own email address so you can see it in a real inbox. You can send 3 tests a day, and a test does not use your allowance.

If a supporter does not want your emails

Every email has links at the bottom: one stops emails from you only, one opens their email settings, and one stops all marketing emails from Spenny Piggy. A supporter who stops your emails still keeps what they bought and can still buy from you. They are left out of your next email automatically.
