Start your stream on YouTube or Twitch, then press Go live on your page and paste the link. We check a frame of the stream before it shows, and keep checking while you are live.
Spenny Piggy does not host video. You stream on YouTube or Twitch as usual, and your page shows that stream to your supporters.
Go live
- Start your stream on YouTube or Twitch.
- Open your page and press Go live.
- Paste the stream link — for example
youtube.com/watch?v=…ortwitch.tv/yourname. Only YouTube and Twitch links work. - Give it a title and choose who can watch: Everyone, Followers, or Members only (members only needs a membership or monthly content to join).
- Confirm the stream is safe for work, then press Go live.
Before it shows
We take a frame of your stream and check it automatically. Your live shows on your page only after that check passes — usually within a minute. If we cannot get a frame or cannot check it, the live is not shown and your page says why. Make sure the stream is live and public, then try again.
While you are live we check a new frame every 5 minutes. A live ends on its own after 6 hours, when your Twitch stream stops, or when you press End live.
Who gets told
When your live first passes its check, your followers and members get a notice — on the site, by push if they allow it, and by email if they agreed to creator updates. A members-only live is only announced to members. To keep it from becoming noise, your audience is told about one live a day.
Safe for work, always
Adult or explicit content is never allowed. If a check finds it, the live is ended straight away and live streaming is turned off for your account. Your page shows the reason. Our team can also turn live streaming off, and the reason is always shown to you. Contact support if you think a decision is wrong.
What supporters see
Anyone allowed to watch sees your stream right on your page. Anyone else sees the title and what to do to watch — follow you, or join as a member. Viewers can report a live, and our team reviews every report.
