Add your private overlay link to OBS, Streamlabs or TikTok Live Studio as a browser source, and every purchase from you pops up on your stream for your viewers.
When someone buys from you while you are live, your stream can celebrate it. Open Account Settings → Creator Studio → Stream overlay, copy your overlay link, and add it to your streaming software as a browser source.
Set it up
- Copy your Alert link from the Stream overlay page.
- Add a browser source — in OBS: Sources → + → Browser; in Streamlabs: + → Browser Source; in TikTok Live Studio: Add source → Link.
- Paste the link and size it to your scene: 1920 × 1080 for a widescreen scene, or 1080 × 1920 if you choose the portrait layout for a vertical stream.
- Place it on top of your scene. The background is see-through, so only the alert shows.
- Press Send a test to my stream and watch it appear.
⚠️ The TikTok, Instagram and YouTube phone apps cannot show a browser source. Use TikTok Live Studio, OBS or Streamlabs on a computer.
What your viewers see
Each alert shows who unlocked what — for example, "@name unlocked Behind the scenes pack" — with an animation and a short sound. New members and larger purchases get a bigger celebration. Your page address shows under the alert so viewers know where to find you; you can switch that off.
- The amount is hidden unless you turn it on.
- Test alerts carry a TEST ALERT badge, so viewers never mistake one for a real purchase.
- Anyone who bought anonymously, without an account, or through a custom request shows as "A supporter" — and so does any supporter who chose to hide their username on live streams.
- Renewals of monthly content and memberships only alert if you switch Alert on renewals too on.
Change the look
Pick a theme (Sticker, Receipt, Neon or Minimal), where on screen it appears, and how long it stays. Changes reach your live stream within a few seconds — you do not need to touch your streaming software.
There is also an optional Recent supporters strip, a second link that shows a scrolling list of your latest supporters from the last 30 days.
Hide or replay an alert
Under Recent alerts, press Hide to take any alert off your stream, or Replay to play it again. Replay is available for 24 hours after the purchase, and never for a refunded one.
Keep the link private
Anyone with your overlay link can see your alerts, so the page hides it until you press Show. If it is ever shared by mistake, press Make a new link — the old one stops working straight away, and you paste the new one into your streaming software.
