Following is free and unlocks nothing. It tells the creator you want to hear from them, and it is how you get told when they publish something new.
Following is not buying
If you want the content behind a membership or a listing, you have to buy it. Following a creator gives you no access to anything paid — see what am I actually buying.
Unfollowing
Open their page and press Following again. Nothing you have already bought is affected — a purchase is yours whether you follow the creator or not.
If you hear nothing
Check your notification settings. Following works, but the message still has to have somewhere to arrive.
