Set your postage rates before you list, pack and send within your stated delivery time, then mark the order delivered.
When you sell something physical, the buyer pays your listed price plus the postage you set. Postage is yours to set and yours to pay out of — so set it before you list, not after somebody has bought.
Set your postage first
Each physical item needs at least one postage rate. You can set rates in two ways:
- A shipping profile — one set of rates you reuse across many items. Change it once and every item using it follows. This is the one to use if you post similar things.
- Per item — rates typed on that listing alone.
⚠️ A profile always wins where one is selected. Saving an item with a profile chosen removes any per-item rates it had, so the two can never both apply.
Zones
Within either, a buyer's own country is matched first and Worldwide is the fallback. Set your own country's rate deliberately — it is the one most of your buyers will use.
🚨 If you delete a shipping profile, every item still pointing at it ships free. Nothing warns the buyer and nothing warns you — the order simply arrives with no postage on it and you pay to send it. Move those items onto another profile, or give them their own rates, before deleting one.
Delivery time and restrictions
Delivery time and any restrictions are per item, always shown, and they are a promise: they are what the buyer is shown before paying and what we measure a late order against. Say what is true for the way you actually post, not the best case.
After the sale
- You are notified, and the order appears in your orders list.
- Pack and send it within the delivery time you stated.
- Mark it delivered — the money is released on your normal payout schedule, and an order left unmarked can hold up that payment.
If a parcel goes missing or a buyer says it never arrived, message support from the chat bubble before refunding — we can see the order, the dates and what the buyer was told.
