Earning your membership back

For creators2 min readUpdated 12 Sept 2026

Every £500.00 you earn buys a free month of your creator membership. It is a credit against your own bill and is never paid as cash.

Every £500.00 of settled earnings buys you 1 free month of your creator membership. £500.00 earns one, twice that earns two, and so on. There is no cap.

It is a credit, not cash

A free month is applied to your own membership bill. It is not money paid to you, it cannot be withdrawn, and it cannot be transferred to anybody else.

What counts towards it

Settled sales — the listed price of what you sold, including VAT where it applies. The same measure the rest of your bonus progress uses.

Refunds and chargebacks come back off the total, so a sale that is later refunded stops counting. Buying from yourself does not count, and money still held in escrow on an unaccepted task does not count until the buyer accepts.

When a free month is applied

As soon as you have earned one, it is credited against your next membership bill automatically. Where a bill is smaller than the credit, the remainder stays on your account for the bill after it.

Where to see it

Your subscription screen shows how many free months you have earned, how many you have used, and how far you are from the next one.

If a refund takes you back below

A free month you have not used yet is removed, and earned again if later sales take you back over. A free month you have already used is never taken back.
