When you are charged
Billing starts after your first sale. Your card is collected once your profile has been approved, before your payouts are connected — but it is not charged until then.
Why we take the card before charging it
Your card is asked for after a person has approved your profile and before your payouts are set up. It is the filter that keeps automated accounts away from identity verification, which costs the platform money on every check. It is not a hold on your funds — nothing is taken.
Cancelling
Cancel before you have ever been charged and it stops immediately, with nothing owed. Cancel after a period has been paid for and your access runs to the end of that period.
What this is not
This is not a commission. There is no percentage of your sales taken as a subscription fee — the two are separate things, and the fees at checkout work differently.
