Every new listing is checked before it goes on sale. Most clear without you doing anything.
Every new listing is created unpublished and checked before it can be bought. There are two different states and they mean different things.
"Waiting for review"
Nobody has looked at it yet, and there is nothing for you to do. This is the normal path for most listings.
"Changes needed"
Someone — or the automatic scan — has looked and something needs fixing. The reason is shown on the listing's own card, in plain words. Fix that one thing and it goes back into the queue automatically.
What gets checked
- Images and files — an automatic scan, then a person.
- Your words — the listing title, description and reward text are checked against the platform's content rules.
Why an item can be held twice
A Shop listing has both a product image and a paid reward file. Both are scanned, so an item can be held for either. The reason names which one.
If your listing is scheduled
Approving a scheduled listing does not put it on sale early — it still goes live at the time you set. See scheduling a listing.
