It is a new listing, not a clone
A duplicate is re-submitted as if you had filled the form in again, so it is priced, checked and reviewed like anything else. That is deliberate — a copied listing that skipped those checks would sell at whatever the original was priced at, forever, however you edited it afterwards.
What is deliberately not copied
- A Piggy Pot's deadline. The original's is usually in the past, and a pot created already closed is invisible from the moment it is made.
- Whether it was pinned.
- Sales, views and history, which belong to the original.
The title gets "(copy)"
The listing title does. The reward headline does not — that is what a supporter reads at checkout and on their receipt, and "(copy)" there describes your workflow rather than what they are buying.
