Only if you are VAT registered. Set your rate in your settings and it is added to your prices.
Only if you are VAT registered. Most creators are not, and if you are not, there is nothing to set.
If you are registered
Set your VAT rate in your settings. It is then added on top of your prices at checkout and paid out to you with your earnings, for you to remit.
It is added, not deducted
Your listed price stays what you receive. VAT goes on top of it, like the platform fees do.
Whether you should register
That is a question for your accountant and depends on your total turnover, not on what you earn here. We cannot advise on it.
Your records
The Tax tab of your financial dashboard has per-transaction VAT and downloadable statements for any period, including the UK tax year (6 April to 5 April — not the calendar year).
