Email settings live on your Email preferences page, and each category is a separate switch — turning off promotions does not silence product announcements.

What always sends
Receipts, payment confirmations, password resets, security notices and anything about your account's own state — a payout, a refund, a payment that could not be taken.
There is no switch for these by design. They are about money that has moved or access to your account, and there is no version of that you should be able to miss.
One-click unsubscribe
Every optional email has an unsubscribe link, and the ones in a promotional email turn off just that category rather than everything.
Bought as a guest
Reminder emails to a guest carry their own unsubscribe link — you do not need an account to stop them.
